What’s a hero shot? A hero shot is a high resolution, exceptionally polished image that is typically used as a main image for product pages, advertising campaigns or other scenarios where maximum detail and clarity is paramount.
How much larger are the images? Shooting at 30.4 megapixels, each image comes off the camera at a dense 6,720 × 4,480 pixel count. This accounts for up to a 3x increase in image size over our standard photos for optimum detail and clarity.
What additional editing is performed? Extensive retouching will be performed on each hero image. This may include brushing in reflections, highlights, extensive blemish removal, addition of gradients, shadows among many other potential edits that can be made. Ultimately, we want your image to appeal as attractive as possible and will do whatever we can to achieve that result.
Includes transparencies. All hero shots include transparencies delivered in a layered tiff format for easy incorporation into your design.
Why order a Hero Shot? We recommend hero shots for use on the Amazon.com marketplace as the primary image in your listing. We also recommend hero shots any time an image needs to be extremely high resolution or when it will receive intense scrutiny such as with product packaging or advertisements.
Micro Lifestyle Images are a cost effective way to spruce up your image stack with some compelling photography showing your product in a natural looking setting, perhaps even in use. As the name suggests, we’ll create a miniaturized lifestyle shoot by building out a natural looking set for your product in our controlled studio environment. We’re able to put together custom backgrounds, surfaces and can integrate models or relevant props.
Are there any special considerations or limitations? Micro Lifestyle Images are generally best suited for smaller products. Anything that includes larger sets, full body model shots or travel outside the studio is not available with this service. However, we can simulate larger and more complex scenes with our Lifestyle Compositing service described below.
Lifestyle Composite Images open up a new world of possibilities with regards to creating compelling lifestyle imagery on a small budget. With this service, we’re able to shoot your product in our studio and then naturally integrate it into a pre-existing stock image scene using cutting edge compositing techniques. The end result is a clean looking lifestyle image without the added costs of booking locations or paying for a photographer’s location time.
Are there any special considerations or limitations? Generally, this service can potentially limit creative possibilities since we’ll need to find a stock image that matches our end creative goal relatively precisely. If your product is particularly unique and requires a very specific sort of action or environment, it may be necessary to implement a traditional lifestyle shoot (see below).
Traditional Lifestyle Images show your product performing its intended use in a real world environment and are guaranteed to improve the effectiveness of a product listing containing only white-background photography. Unlike many of our competitors, Blue Peak Media offers real life, authentic lifestyle photo shoots. We’re proud to offer a wide selection of models, environments, props and professional on-location shooting options to out clients.
Lifestyle images are billed with the same pricing as our Standard Images. However, several additional expenses may come into play when creating a lifestyle shoot including location rental costs, model payouts and prop purchases. These costs vary depending on the specific logistics and requirements for your shoot. We can shoot traditional lifestyle shots on location at our home studio without the need for any extra investment. Conversely, we can rent out multiple Airbnb’s, hire models, stylists and purchase props which can all increase costs dramatically. What you need to know is this: we have solutions for all budgets.
We have access to an excellent network of local models and acting talent that we’re able to provide for your shoot. Adding model photography allows you to show how your product looks or functions when it’s in use. It’s also great way to give a sense of scale to your customers.

Infographics are the perfect way to highlight your product’s features. We are often asked about infographic design by our clients, particularly those selling on Amazon. We’ll photographic key areas or features of your product and integrate the photography into a pleasing and professional design that shows your clients what your product is all about.
Standard Infographics comes with up to 5 photos of your product and will be incorporated into a unique design that explains the details of your product with text, arrows, measurements, and other design elements. We’re also able to create other types of infographics such as sizing graphics, exploded views or content for Amazon’s Enhanced Brand Content. The sky is the limit!
